Infrastructure

The Town of Wake Forest has invested more than $20 million in improvements to the Dowtown area. Recent projects include:

• The Wake Forest Streetscape Enhancement Project (SEP) created new sidewalks, streetlamps, roundabouts, trees and benches in Downtown Wake Forest.

• The Wake Forest Wayfinding Project brought trailblazer signs to Downtown. This signage provides directional information to notable destinations in Downtown and directions to public parking.

• Gateway signage has been placed in entrances to the Downtown area to welcome and direct people into the heart of Wake Forest.

• Many new buildings like the Wake Forest Town Hall have been constructed in the last five years while other structures such as the Renaissance Plaza have received renovations to meet the current style and standards of the Downtown area.
